Protorae Law is pleased to announce four attorneys across three practice areas were selected to the 2019 Virginia and Washington DC Super Lawyers and Rising Stars listing: Super Lawyers Brian Chandler, James Kinsel, and Antigone G. Peyton; and Rising Stars, and Rebecca Bricken Segal. Each year, no more than five percent of the lawyers in each state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor.
Super Lawyers
Brian Chandler leads the firm’s Employment Law practice and is chair of the firm’s Transactional Law practices. Brian focuses his practice on employment matters, resolving business disputes, breach of contract actions, and corporate control matters. He has represented business before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Virginia Department of Labor and Industry.
James Kinsel co-chairs the firm’s Business Litigation practice defending and presecuting hundred of business disputes involving breach of contract, trade secret misappropriation and other business tort claims in federal courts, as well as Virginia and Maryland state courts.
Antigone Peyton leads the firm’s Intellectual Property and Technology Law practice. She focuses on complex privacy and cybersecurity issues, and data management projects for billion dollar corporations, in addition to IP portfolio management and growth strategies which include patents, trademarks, trade secrets, and copyrights.
Rising Stars
Rebecca Bricken Segal co-chairs the firm’s Business Litigation practice. She is a seasoned trial attorney who focuses on business litigation, advising large, mid-tier, and small companies on business disputes by facilitating problem solving both inside and outside the courtroom.
