Intellectual Property Litigation
Any form of intellectual property can be litigated. When litigation is necessary, you want sophisticated and experienced counsel who will handle your important cases with calm confidence, clear communication, interactive collaboration, and refreshing transparency. Protorae Law’s Intellectual Property and Technology Law attorneys are here to help. We take a strategic approach to every case. We perform early case assessments. We evaluate settlement options. We combine creativity and smart technology to tackle discovery challenges rationally and cost-effectively. We pursue alternatives to litigation, inter partes proceedings, arbitration, and mediation. Our attorneys are former clerks at both the trial and appellate level. We have successfully litigated all forms of IP cases (copyright, and trademark), from complaint to jury trial to appeal. In addition to district court litigations, we have also handled litigation-like proceedings before the U.S Patent & Trademark Office, including trademark oppositions and petitions for cancellation of trademarks.
We are especially familiar with the local practice rules at the Eastern District of Virginia.
