Brian Wotring is an associate in the Business Litigation practice at Protorae Law. As a litigator, Brian represents sophisticated clients through discovery, motions practice, settlement negotiations, and trial.
Before joining Protorae Law, Brian clerked for the Honorable Charles S. Russell of the Supreme Court of Virginia, where he assisted the Justice with resolving complex legal issues on appeal. Prior to clerking at the Supreme Court, he clerked for the Honorable Charles E. Poston and the Honorable John R. Doyle of the Norfolk Circuit Court in Virginia.
Brian received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he was selected as a teaching assistant in Legal Research and Writing. He earned Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Utah, where he majored in Political Science and International Studies and received a certificate in International Relations. Brian is also a veteran of the United States Army with decorated service in Iraq.
